What: This storage pond has a capacity of 14Ml. It was previously serviced with two 7.5 hp surge pumps which recorded Mycrocystis in excess of 500,000 per mm3 and an algae bio-volume over 43.

EnviroSonic: A single mains powered EnviroSonic ES300 was installed in July 2016.

Success: With the surge pumps turned off, the NATA report seven weeks later showed no detectable blue green algae and a nil bi-volume count. This is effectively a 100% reduction. The installation saves $17,000 per year in energy costs.
