Our technology: your algae control solution.
The team at EnviroSonic will help you to analyse your water conditions, algae level, microclimate, shape and dimensions of each water body.
The team at EnviroSonic understand the challenges of controlling blue green algae.
To optimise the effectiveness of the ultrasound in treating the algae in each specific waterway, key things to consider in installation are:
the number of units for the waterway
calculating the placement of each of the different units
access to mains power
orientation of solar pontoons, if using solar
GSM availability for remote or regional locations
maintenance visits, timing and access
EnviroSonic comes in two different unit sizes:
the ES50, for water pondages less than 50 metres diameter
the ES300 for larger reservoirs and dams
Multiple configurations of the units on a large body of water will ensure algal control to a depth of 8 metres within the water column.
ES50
The ES50 EnviroSonic unit has a range of 50 metres in a semi circle from the EnviroSonic unit transducer and it uses 40 watts of power.
The ES50 is only available as a mains power unit.
It is used in smaller ponds, for ornamental lake algae control, in large storage tanks and on fish farms, golf courses, and farms.
ES300
The ES300 EnviroSonic unit has a range of 300 metres, in a semi-circle from the transducer.
It uses power of 100 watts, and is designed for blue green algae control in bodies of water such as larger lakes, reservoirs, power stations, channels and marine areas.
The ES300 can be mains powered or solar-powered.
For solar powered units, two units on a purpose built pontoon with transducers facing in opposite directions, gives a cover of a 600 metre circle - or four pontoons per square kilometre.
The installation controls algae through the whole water column where algae can grow in depths over 8 metres.
